I hope my paintings read as references to art history but placing the emphasis on the subconscious mind and probing the possibilities of making an arbitrary gesture, mark, or figure and then exploring the many dialogues and narratives that they spark. Allegorization in all of it's forms tells the viewer something that could be forgotten.
